I was approached to develop an intro for a Music Book app for the band Faithless, which if I remember rightly was to be like a coffee table book, but an app. A collectors item app.
This was around the time of the first or second generation iPad so the resolution was more square and it didn’t need to drag on too much. I was given the photos and other assets and set about animating it to the storyboard I was sent. There were a lot of tweaks on this one but we got to a complete video eventually. Unfortunately I think the idea was scrapped before it came to market and in fairness it’s nothing you wouldn’t be able to offer behind a pay wall on their own website. (Not to mention the fact that you’d have to perpetually update the app to keep up with iOS upgrades… sounds like a nightmare the more I think about it)
